Instructions
  1. Slice beef into 1-inch thin pieces; set aside.
  2. Mix cornstarch, salt and sugar; blend into soy sauce, set aside.
  3. Cut broccoli into 3/4 inch pieces and slice carrots. Add peanut oil to wok or large frying pan and heat until hot. Cook carrots and broccoli until tender. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add olive oil and beef to pan and cook until done. Add peas, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts and 1/4 cup water. Stir soy mix and cook until thickened; add carrots and broccoli.
  5. Serve over rice.

  1. Place ham on rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 325° F for 1 1/4 hours or until meat thermometer registers 140° F (about 15-18 minutes per pound.)
  2. For the glaze, combine brown sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg and cloves in a small saucepan. Stir in apricot nectar and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly.
  3. Brush ham with glaze. Continue baking 15-20 minutes more, brushing occasionally with glaze.

  1. In large bowl, whisk together cola, garlic, soy sauce, mustard, sesame oil, ginger and cayenne. Place wings in 2 large zip-top plastic bags; pour half of the cola mixture into each bag over wings. Seal bags and refrigerate 2 hours to marinate.
