Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, simmer sauerkraut with applesauce and apple juice for 20 minutes.
  2. In a large deep skillet, heat butter over medium heat; add onions and saute, stirring frequently, until very soft, about 10 minutes. Add brown sugar and cook for 5 more minutes. The onions should be caramelized. Add apple pieces and saute for 5 more minut
  3. Prepare a medium-hot fire in grill. Grill bratwurst directly over fire, turning until evenly browned, about 5-7 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160° F.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar, apple juice, orange juice, vinegar, cinnamon, allspice, salt and nutmeg. Increase heat and cook until mixture simmers; remove saucepan from heat.
  2. Spray 13 x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Layer sweet potatoes, apples and juice mixture in baking dish. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender.

  1. Mix all ingredients except nutmeg in a Dutch oven; simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat and discard cinnamon stick, cloves and orange rind. To serve, pour into individual mugs and sprinkle each serving lightly with nutmeg.
